Water Dragon
The Eastern Water Dragon is a striking and large species of lizard found primarily along the eastern coast of Australia. Eastern Water Dragons can grow to a length of about 70 cm (27 inches), including their tail, which is often as long as their body. They live near water sources such as rivers, lakes, and ponds. Water Dragons can run very fast, they are excellent swimmers and good climbers.
The Fighters
On the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, two fierce rivals prepare to clash. The reigning male, a battle-hardened water dragon, has long ruled this stretch of land, dispatching every challenger with ruthless efficiency. Feared and unchallenged, his dominance has never been questioned—until now. From the nearby Broadwater, a bold young contender has arrived. Undeterred by the veteran’s fearsome reputation, the newcomer strides into enemy territory with fire in his eyes. He’s not just here for turf—he’s here for glory, and for the attention of a stunning young female who watches from the sidelines.
The stage is set for a fierce confrontation. The air is thick with tension. A brutal showdown is imminent.

The Queen and spectators

The water dragon beauty queen knows exactly who she is—and she owns it. Most days, she lounges in the bushes like it’s her private VIP suite, only stepping out when the sun’s just right for a little glam time. She keeps her figure flawless with a clean diet and a solid fitness routine—no shortcuts, just fierce dedication.
She moves like she’s walking a runway, cool, collected, and utterly unbothered. As for the two muscle-bound giants fighting over her? She hasn’t so much as batted an eye. Let them clash. She’ll choose if and when she feels like it. Because the Queen doesn’t chase—she gets chased.

The much-anticipated showdown was set for December 27th at 2 p.m., but by 1 o’clock, every prime viewing spot around the arena was already taken. No surprise—this kind of spectacle only comes around once a year. Spectators had gathered from near and far, with some travelling all the way from Forresters Beach. It wasn’t just water dragons who attended; even other lizards, like the Blue Tongue, had come to witness the showdown. Among the crowd were young dragons, having never seen a fight before. Meanwhile, the more seasoned spectators exchanged a few quiet bets. The stage was set, and the tension was electric.
